Over the last few weeks I have been developing a Zbrush project which generates a posable and sculptable basemesh model.
From my experience working with a solid watertight basemesh has its limits, due to polygon stretching and resolution.
My goal was to create an accurate male model based on planar forms, which will allow the artist to pose easily and sculpt ontop to refine detail and character.
I plan to release this model and zbrush project for purchase soon, stay tuned for more details.
In the mean, check out a test post OBJ. http://bit.ly/freeavrgman

Personal project to recreate characters from my childhood comic Asterix & Obelix.
This is Caesar! Please watch in 1080 HD.
What a crazy and amazing year 2014 has been! Working on VFX for feature films, two of which are nominated for an Oscar, meeting and making new friends and learning soooo much. Loosing about 10kg of fat and in the fittest shape of my life. I’m so grateful for everything and really looking forward to 2015.
I spent a few hours last night putting together a turntable gallery of about 90% of my Zbrush sculpts from 2014, its a long video and not intended as a reel, but rather just something to reflect on and a bit of fun. I’ve definitely been a busy little bee.
Happy New Years!
